Porcelain artist and china painter Julia Sweda offers fine custom hand painted porcelain jewelry boxes, fine china painting, switch plates and other porcelain paintings. The porcelain jewelry boxes and china paintings shown below are examples of customized china paintings that can be done for you. Custom painting is also shown on a porcelain teapot and pitcher along with some switch plates, a porcelain lamp base and some decorative porcelain medallions. Porcelain jewelry boxes and fine china painting can be enhanced and customized with the use of luster, enamels and gold and are kiln-fired as many times as needed to bring out all the details necessary to complete the painting and will make your painting permanent- it will not rub off, wash off or fade.

Prices of the pieces are determined by the porcelain/china piece used and the complexity and detail of the subject that will be painted. Please contact Julia for a price quote. The porcelain may be provided directly by the customer or it would be arranged to obtain a suitable piece through a local supplier in the Tucson area or directly ordered from a porcelain distributor. All shipping and handling costs will be paid by the customer.
