Artworks by Julia specializes in custom designed, hand painted kitchen backsplash ceramic tile murals and decorative tiles. Each painting is developed with input and suggestions from the client to create tile paintings and ceramic backsplash murals that have been custom designed just for them and their home décor. Painted tile mural backsplashes and kitchen backsplash murals are used mainly for decorating and remodeling the kitchen but can be used to spruce up a wet bar, butlers pantry or bathroom/shower as well.

  All of Julia's murals and decorative tiles are custom designed so can be matched to any dimensions, colored tiles, ropes, fabric, wallpaper or color combinations that will be incorporated into the design of the room or location. It may be necessary to send examples of fabric, wallpaper, paint chips, countertop, etc, to help with the coordination. Some tiles that Julia is not familiar with and in particular, clay bodied tiles, may need to be test fired to make sure they come through firing intact and are compatible with the paint to be used on them. All test firings/samples will be an additional cost.

  Please contact Julia for a price quote. The cost of the tile itself, any test firings/samples and shipping/handling are not included in the price of the paintings shown.  Insured shipping and handling averages $15 dollars per square foot for UPS ground delivery. Tiles could be provided directly by the customer or it can be arranged to obtain tiles through a local supplier in the Tucson area.
